Default Class changing and pet usage

If I was ranger second with pet, class changed to monk, and wanted to go back, will my pet still be there just like my skills are?

Yea, the pet is ALWAYS linked to Charm Animal.

The only way to get rid of it is the tamer outside ascalon.

Yup unless you charm a new one, it's always linked. Don't worry, mr.fluffly will be there when you decide to go back..just put it this way..he's "roaming the fields of pre-searing" =)

Yes. It works the same with all professions. You simply don't "lose" your skills, rather they go into hiding <in that creepy-cobwebby-corner in your nearest storage container>

pets can also stay as well. for example. if youre a w/mo and do the rangers path quest after ascention. you can be a w/mo with a pet if done right

It disappears as soon as you re-instance though. Done the same in pre-searing, while choosing secondary.
